Privacy Policy

In accordance to Article 10 of the Law 675/96 “Protection of the persons and other subjects, in reference to the treatment of the personal data” (hereinafter the “Law”) we give you the following information:

1) SICICLANDO will use the data which you are asked to provide in order to give execution to the services offered by this site, as well as for promotional purposes aimed at updating you on particular new developments, new product offers and/or promotions. The data will be processed with respect to the privacy and security rules foreseen by the Law mentioned above;

2) as defined by art.1, paragraph 2, letter b) of the Law, processing personal data refers to any operation, or set of operations carried out with or without the help of electronic or automated means, concerning the collection, recording, organization, keeping, elaboration, editing, modification, selection, retrieval, comparison, utilization, interconnection, blocking, communication, diffusion, cancellation and destruction of data. The treatment of the data will be carried out, with or without the help of electronic or automated tools, in pursuance of articles 9 and 15 of the Law;

3) the data will be processed for purposes related to the company’s business, that is, gathering statistical, management, promotional, commercial and marketing information.

4) it is not compulsory that the personal data be supplied. However, failure to do so precludes any possibility of attaining the offers or services provided by SICICLANDO or receiving a response to a query.

5) the data supplied by you will be gathered and stored in a database and controlled in such a way to limit to the very minimum, by means of suitable security measures, the risk of unauthorized access to the data or of their being processed unlawfully or in a way that is not consistent with the purpose for which they have been collected. If necessary the data will be communicated exclusively to:

a) companies linked or controlled by SICICLANDO;

b) public or private bodies in compliance with any obligation imposed by law;

c) the personal data supplied might be transferred abroad, if consent is provided and within the limits imposed under Article 28 of the Law.
We inform you that you may exercise all the rights set out in Article 13 of the Law 675/96 relating to the treatment of your personal data , among which the following:

1) the right to gain the information, by means of access to the register as provided by Article 31 L.675/96, or asking to the responsible about the use of data which may be related to you;

2) the right to be informed about elements indicated in Section n.°7, paragraph 4, letters a), b) and h);

3) to obtain from the handler of the personal data, without any delay: a) the confirmation of the existence or not of your personal data, also if they haven’t still been registered, and the communication in a comprehensive way of the same data and their origin, as well as of the logic and purpose on which this treatment is based; the request can be renewed, except for legitimate reasons, with a three months’ interval; b) the cancellation, the transformation in an anonymous form or the stoppage of the handled data in violation of a law, included those of which the preservation is not necessary in relation to the aims for which they have been gathered or successively handled; c) the updating, the correction or, if you are interested, the integration of the data; d) the declaration that the operations regarding the letters b) and c) are known, also as far as their content is concerned, from those to whom the data have been transmitted, except in the case in which this accomplishment is impossible or involves an excessive effort in relation to the defended right.

4) the right to oppose, completely or in part, for legitimate reasons, the treatment of your personal data, also if they are pertinent to the aim of their gathering;

5) the right to oppose, completely or in part the treatment of your personal data regarding commercial information or mailing of advertising leaflets or direct selling or rather for the accomplishment of marketing researches or interactive commercial communications and to be informed, from the holder of the data treatment, in the moment in which these data have been released, of your possibility to exercise this right free of charge.

The holder of the treatment is SICICLANDO in person of Mr. Giuseppe Crinò, legal representative. Responsible for the use of the data is Mr. Dario Carzan.

The treatment of the data will be processed predominantly through a computerised or automatic system with respect to the privacy and security rules in accordance with the D.P.R 318/99 by people expressly authorised. The data will be recorded and held in the Database of MCLINK SPA, Via Darwin, 85 – 20090 Settimo Milanese (MI).
