When we decided to go with Siciclando for our Italian bike tour, we crossed our fingers that everything we had read about them was true. Having completed our trip, I can confidently tell you to leave your worries at home. Siciclando will take care of you. The whole process of planning our trip with Dario via emails was a pleasure. We chose the self guided bike tour, and although we were “on our own”, we really were not. Everything was organized for us (charming hotels, route maps, luggage transfers, train tickets, sightseeing recommendations, etc.) and the staff were only a phone call away at all times. Yes, Siciclando took excellent care of us – but more importantly they did it warmly, and with big hearts. I would absolutely sign on with Siciclando again.

My wife Shannon and I went on a self guided customized 5 day trip through Tuscany. Siciclando was great offering all the mapped out routes, bikes & equipment, exquisite lodging and forwarding of our luggage each day. Everything we were told about the hybrid bikes was true. These bikes are excellent! They are perfect for the kind of vacation touring we were doing–stopping to talk with people, to visit ruins and towns, and to take pictures. The best part of the trip was the surprise of all the “extras” that Siciclando included in the trip. eg) the cooking class was so much fun and helped all of the bikers get to know each other better. The picnics were relaxed and casual, The lunch in the wine “cave” was over the top! The spontaneous stop at the thermal baths was something that I will not forget.

What a wonderful week exploring the Maremma with Giuseppe. Dario and Giuseppe worked so hard to make this family trip work for us despite our vastly differing biking abilities. We loved Orvieto and the beautiful countryside and small towns of the Maremma (Sovana, Sorano, Pitigliano, Capalbio, Magliano di Toscana) and the ending ride through the cool pine forest of Fineglia National Park with its wonderful beaches on the sea.
