Life is an adventure with many things to learn and try. For me that has led to many types of careers that overlap and balance each other in a beautiful way.

First, I am a teacher at Scuola Alberghiera (a cooking school), where I was also a student.

This gave me the possibility to travel the world as a cook and meet many other people. Yet, something was missing so I went back to school and after four years and lots of practice I became a Gestalt Therapist/Counselor. Now I have my own practice with many clients.

One year ago I combined the two careers and part of my counseling practice involves kitchen therapy group counseling. I love it!

Yet, there was still something missing. I began providing cooking classes for the Siciclando Tuscany tours and realized that I liked the people at Siciclando — both the guides and the guests. Visitors to Italy give me the possibility to meet different cultures and learn how similar we are. This I love too!

All together it is a complete career.

So if you are hungry or angry... or want to bike Italy, I am yours!

Quick Facts
  • Birthday:
    May 13
  • Favorite Gelato:
Of course, nocciola (hazelnut) and gianduia (hazelnut and chocolate — think frozen Nutella). Why "of course"? I am from Piedmont where we are raised on hazelnuts!
Why is Siciclando the best way to discover Italy?

There are corners of Italy that only natives can see and proudly show to you. From the perfect lasagna bolognese to the hidden church behind the hill. We know it. It is part of us. And it is our pleasure to share it with our guests.

What bike do you ride when not on tour?

I usually ride my grandmother's old bike to collect eggs from the chickens down the road. I recently borrowed a bike from Dario to do a bit more biking at home... and I am quite content to use one of the electric bikes of Siciclando, when on tour.
