These guys have Sicilian cycling down to a science. All the people we dealt with at Siciclando were so kind and helpful. They gave us the GPS, which worked perfectly. The routes were very much backroads with minimal automobile traffic and the scenery was breathtaking for most of the ride. We didn't really follow dinner recommendations, and preferred to explore on our own. The hotels exceeded expectations — there were a couple in particular that really blew us away. I've done several of these types of self-guided tours in other countries. This was the best by far.
Loved the towns, scenery, variety of destinations & routes. Our welcome representative, Antonio answered a lot of questions which made our trip worry free.
Truly a nicely run program. Riders had detailed information about cycling routes prior to starting. Good variety of places to stay & places to visit. Routes felt safe & were scenic. Length of routes met our ability.
Even for those of us in our group who aren't cyclists (and I'm one of them), the tour was an absolute pleasure - where the cycling was almost like a tool which enhanced everything else.
Bravo Siciclando! We were looking for a memorable family bike tour, something where we did not have to coordinate and manage the details. Siciclando made it happen from the planning to the tour itself. Our guide, Andrea, took great care of all of us (and our bikes).
